Our client, a top-tier global law firm, is seeking a Strategic Proposals Manager to support high-value, complex panel and transactional proposals across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas. Sitting within the Global Proposals team and reporting to the function head, this role plays a critical part in securing major global client opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support strategic global panel and cross-border RFPs; advise on smaller practice-led proposals
* Partner with senior lawyers and business development teams to shape compelling, client-focused proposals
* Develop original, high-quality written content and pitch strategies for complex opportunities
* Coordinate firmwide stakeholders including Pricing, Innovation, Knowledge and Legal teams
* Lead pitch meeting preparation, including presentation strategy, materials and delivery
* Manage post-pitch follow-up, client feedback and post-win onboarding support
* Champion best practice across proposal processes, evaluation, reporting and training
* Maintain proposal infrastructure, reporting and content within proposal generation tools
Requirements:
* Proven end-to-end proposal management experience within a global professional services environment (legal preferred)
* Track record of managing complex, multi-practice and multi-jurisdictional RFPs
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior partners
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
* Highly organised, resilient and comfortable working under pressure
* Degree-qualified; relevant professional qualifications (e.g. APMP, MBA) advantageous
* Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and CRM systems
