The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) culture across projects and operations. The role involves providing competent advice to site management and supervisors, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safe systems of work. The officer supports project teams by delivering inductions, daily briefings, and RAMS reviews, maintaining up-to-date safety documentation, and ensuring all personnel receive appropriate training and communication to carry out their work safely and effectively
The Health and Safety Officer will also play a key role in monitoring performance through audits, inspections, and incident management. Their responsibility will include investigating accidents and near misses, preparing reports, implementing corrective actions, and lesson learned to prevent recurrence. The role involves liaising with subcontractors, clients, and management, coordinating inspections, maintaining accurate records, and driving continuous improvement in health and safety standards across the organisation
