The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sport team as a Sports Entries & Information Coordinator!
Working closely with the Sport Entries and Information Manager, the Sport Entries and Information Coordinators will assist in ensuring that each Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) has a smooth experience in confirming their athlete entries for Glasgow 2026. They will function as a main point of contact for CGAs and help with questions and queries on the process with the full support of the Sport Entries and Information Manager.
The Sport Entries and Information Coordinators are responsible for the planning and delivery of the sport information strategy across competition venues, training venues, and accommodation hubs. They will also support the development and delivery of all sport-related publications.
Job Summary:
As the Sport Entries and Information Coordinator, you will play a vital dual role supporting both athlete registration and sport information delivery. You will be responsible for serving as a key point of contact for CGAs regarding athlete qualification and entries. You will provide guidance on the sport entries process and policies, including use of the online entries system.
You will be responsible for coordinating the planning, setup, and delivery of Sport Information Desks at all competition and training venues and accommodation hubs. Collaboration with our internal teams (Sport Competition, Technology, CGA Relations, Marketing and Communications, and Accommodation) is key to ensure seamless planning and delivery of all sport information and publications milestones.

Experience:
We are looking for a strong communicator who has excellent written and presentation skills. You need to have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, frequently under pressure and love to multi task.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of other languages besides English and a clear understanding of sport entry systems and online registration.
Experience in sport event coordination or operations in a major sporting event is desirable.
