Role and responsibilities
Day-to-day duties of the role will include
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for
* Previous receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* Excellent communication with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with members of the public
* Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management systems
