Coded Welders & Pipe Fitters, Pipe Welders, Mechanical Fitters and Fitter Welders
Responsibilities
* Installation of cable tray, ladder racking, uni‑strut supports and brackets for pipework.
* Fabrication of 2‑4 inch & 6‑8 inch pipework, setting up pipe butts & flanges for welding in accordance with coded specifications using TIG or MMA.
* Gas pipework fabrication, fitting, welding and completion of pipe tests.
* Connecting pipework to panels, valves, manifolds using general and PID engineering drawings; fitting screwed, maypress and small‑bore compression pipework.
* Installation of mechanical systems on machinery and erection of fitting steel‑work platforms on food factory sites.
* Completion of checks and pipework tests.
* Operation of IPAF scissor lift / cherry picker.

Schedule
Hours: 07:00 to 17:00 Mon‑Fri; Sat 07:00‑15:30; Sun if required.
Term work: 4‑8 weeks with possibility of extension based on attendance, performance and workload.
Compensation
Skilled: £26 per hour Mon‑Fri; £33 per hour Sat; £35 per hour Sun.
Travel: May be required for 3‑5 nights per week; lodging and meals paid by company.
