English Teacher - KS3 & KS4 (Full Time)

About the Role
Veritas Education are looking to appoint a full‑time English Teacher for a secondary school in Blackburn, starting immediately after the Easter break and continuing until the end of the academic term. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, reliable, and committed teacher who can confidently deliver English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The school are seeking someone who can:
* Teach English Language and English Literature to KS3 & KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support learning and progress
* Manage behaviour in line with school policies
* Support students preparing for GCSE examinations
* Work effectively with the English department and wider school staff
You will be joining a supportive school environment with well‑structured schemes of work and strong leadership.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE specialising in English
* Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
* Strong classroom management skills
* A positive, enthusiastic and professional approach
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Veritas)
