Overview
Payroll Advisor role at TieTalent (Stonewater) to support the Shared Services Manager with administrative aspects of outsourced payroll provision and flexible benefits. The Payroll Advisor will respond to iTrent (HR & Payroll system) queries from colleagues and managers, prepare various import templates for the payroll provider (MHR), and manage related payroll administration including car fleet/allowance, auto enrolment letters, joiners and leavers reports, and pension and benefits reporting. The role also supports flexible benefits windows (holiday trading, cycle to work, childcare vouchers) and myChoice portal administration.
Responsibilities
* Respond to iTrent HR & Payroll queries from colleagues and managers
* Prepare import templates to send data to the payroll provider (MHR)
* Manually calculate net pay and perform in-depth monthly payroll checks
* Post payroll administration tasks (auto enrolment letters, joiners and leavers reports, pension and benefits reports)
* Manage car fleet/car allowance administration
* Support flexible benefits windows (holiday trading, cycle to work, childcare vouchers) and myChoice portal administration
* Ensure accurate data handling and documentation, with attention to data protection and logging
Qualifications and Skills
* Positive and proactive attitude
* Previous HR/payroll experience; iTrent experience is desirable
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong literacy and numeracy, with accuracy and attention to detail
* Competence with figures and spreadsheets, including data manipulation and basic analysis
* Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Computer literacy with accurate keyboard skills
* Ability to problem solve independently and use initiative
* Awareness of changes in legislation, regulatory requirements, and procedures/policies
* Aware of data protection risks and accurate data logging
