BakerHicks is on the lookout for talented Geotechnical Engineers, from graduates starting their careers to experienced Principals and Associates, to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Ground Engineering teams. You’ll contribute to complex, high-profile schemes across transportation, energy, life sciences, industrial, and major public infrastructure, working alongside nationally recognised experts to deliver innovative, sustainable, and technically robust solutions—from ground investigations to advanced foundation design.
What we’re interested in: professionals with experience in planning and supervising site investigations; foundation, slope stability, earthworks, and retaining structures design; ground movement assessments and geotechnical risk management; using industry software such as Plaxis, Wallap, or similar; preparing geotechnical reports, specifications, and design calculations; collaborating with civil, structural, and environmental engineering teams; applying relevant Eurocodes, British Standards, and best practice guidance; and, for Senior/Associate levels, leading projects, teams, or client relationships.
Responsibilities
* Planning and supervising site investigations
