About the role – SEN Teaching Assistant
I am looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for students with special educational needs, including those with ASD. Working closely with teachers and the SEN team, you will help create an inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive. The role involves supporting individuals and small groups, promoting independence, and using strategies to develop communication, social, and learning skills. Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, though training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and commitment.
