Golf Services Assistant - VISION OF THE ROLE: Contributes to the delivery of all aspects within the Golf and Retail operation to maximise revenue and provide excellent customer service to our members and guests. To safeguard the long-term success of Burhill Golf Ltd for its stakeholders, Golf Services Assistants will display determination and focus in supporting the Head Professional to drive all elements of the Pro Shop to the highest level ensuring that Hoebridge is recognised as the premier family-centric golf and leisure destination of the surrounding area. MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS: The Golf Services Assistant will be measured against key criteria: Operating profit (derived from Golf, Driving Range and Retail) Annual measurement of staff engagement Customer loyalty measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) Passing audits Head Professional reviews, General Manager reviews, operational feedback, and personal objectives KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain positive and effective relationships with members and guests through an active presence in the Pro Shop, ensuring all customers and members receive a warm welcome and consistent high standard of service. Greets customers utilising names where possible to handle customer enquiries, bookings and shop sales Assist with tee sheet management and golf bookings Completes opening and closing procedures as per shift. Actively upsell retail products through an active presence within the Pro Shop Maintain an in depth knowledge of our range of products stocked in the Pro Shop Assist in maintaining high standards of retail presentation Assist in maintaining the buggy and trolley fleet Complete club repairs Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are complied with at all times. Ensure personal level of compliance within the BGL Access Learning is 100% at all times. Ensure all BGL procedures and policies are adhered to.
