We are recruiting for an Radiography Assistant to join our busy Imaging department on a full time basis. You will work closely with our fantastic Radiography team and Consultants in a varied and challenging role, ensuring our patients receive a seamless and supported pathway through our hospital. You will be working face to face with patients, supporting them within procedures but also ensuring that all essential administration needs are met.
This position works days only with shifts between Mondays to Saturday.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Assist the multi-disciplinary team in Radiography by providing an efficient and sensitive supporting role.
2. Be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service to our valued patients.
3. Identifying and reporting any significant changes to that might affect a patient’s health and wellbeing to the appropriate person.
4. Handling of equipment, medical records and specimens
Who We're Looking For
5. An experienced, and preferably Care Certificate and NVQ level 3 qualified, Healthcare Assistant
6. Previous experience within Radiography environment is desirable but training could be provided for a suitable candidate with demonstrable experience in a healthcare setting.
7. You will need outstanding communication skills, and you will be able to follow instructions precisely.
