Overview
Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Location: Rochester
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (rotating shift).
Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve machinery performance across the site, handling both reactive and planned maintenance.
* Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules using MaintainX.
* Coordinate with contractors to ensure machinery is serviced and operating safely.
* Manage spare parts inventory and oversee service documentation.
* Carry out routine safety inspections and support the production team.
* Contribute to improvement projects and participate in the Out of Hours Call Out rota.
Qualifications
* Completed Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
* 17th or 18th Edition desirable.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs.
* Knowledge of electric motors, pneumatics, and basic mechanical systems.
* Commitment to a safety-first culture and ability to work independently.
* Desirable: Experience with Fanuc or ABB Robotics Programming.
* Desirable: Familiarity with CNC Programming or Siemens PLCs & HMIs.
