Head of Market Strategy and Analysis
ESP is seeking to hire a Head of Market Strategy and Analysis responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive customer and regional pricing strategies to enhance shareholder value and maintain market competitiveness.
The role involves leading the development and execution of commercial pricing strategies, market analysis, and insights to promote business growth and competitive advantage. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and commercial skills, capable of translating data into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Lead market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
* Develop and implement market and regional strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with annual targets and long-term value.
* Manage management information systems supporting strategic decisions.
* Implement and evaluate pricing strategies and campaigns, adjusting proactively as needed.
* Conduct trading meetings with executive members, report on performance, and present proposals.
* Support data structure development across ESP for pricing MI and analysis.
* Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Person Specification
* Experience in a Transactions Services team within an Accounting Firm or Corporate Finance Boutique.
* Degree educated.
* Proven experience in market and data analysis, commercial strategy, and insights.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including Excel Model proficiency.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a drive to succeed.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* Leadership experience with team management and development.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools, ideally PowerBI.
