SLR Consulting, a global environmental consultancy located in Edinburgh, seeks an early‑career Consultant to join our Sustainable Waste Management team.

Client & Technical Service Offerings
* Waste strategy, options appraisal and plan development
* Service reviews and infrastructure assessments
* Circularity and sustainability studies
* Waste logistics assessments
* Public sector waste support (e.g. procurement)
* Private sector waste company support (e.g. bid development)
* Financial sector advisory (e.g. investment due diligence)
* Support for construction companies and waste technology providers
Job role and responsibilities
* Conduct research, data collation, processing and modelling for a range of projects.
* Support preparation of reports and presentations.
* Assist senior team members across engineering disciplines (Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Carbon & Energy Management).
* Contribute to proposals and client deliverables.
* Support the growth of the Sustainable Waste Management team.
* Research best practice and innovation in waste and resource management.
Qualifications and experience
* Relevant degree (Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Environmental Science or similar).
* Experience in a waste management setting or related industry.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* Strong analytical, communication and research skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a group.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Excel functions.
