Core Objective:
To ensure consistent, high-quality posting across all client platforms, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, with optimised captions, hashtags, and formatting for each platform, while also coordinating with the team to make sure all content is delivered and ready to post on time.
* Primary ResponsibilitiesDaily Posting & Platform Optimisation
* Post 3 times a day per client, Monday to Saturday (total of 18 posts per week per client).
* Platforms:
* Instagram (Reels & Carousels)
* TikTok
* YouTube Shorts
* Facebook (repurposed from Instagram)
* Optimise every post with:
* Captivating captions
* Strategic hashtags
* Platform-specific formatting and cover selection
* Prep content ahead of time to stay on schedule, but remain flexible for last-minute changes.
Content Intake & Organisation
* Receive final edited content from editors and designers.
* Organise posts into the correct order for publishing according to the content calendar.
Coordination & Delegation
* If content is missing, follow up with:
* Timestampers (for clip selection)
* Editors (for final clips)
* Reel Cover Designers
* Carousel Designers
* Keep the workflow moving to meet posting deadlines.
Quality Control
* Review all videos, covers, and captions before posting.
* Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and creative strategy.
Tracking & Reporting
* Keep a daily log of posts published for each client.
* Note engagement trends, top-performing formats, and platform growth.
* Share weekly updates with the internal team.
Key Notes for Role Clarity
* Posting is the #1 priority, coordination happens as needed to fill content gaps.
* Must be quick, organised, and detail-oriented to ensure no posting days are missed.
* The SMM is the last touchpoint before content goes live, responsible for how it appears publicly.
* Flexibility is essential, breaking news, trending topics, or urgent client requests may require adjusting the schedule.
