As an AR/VR Full Stack Developer to build immersive wellbeing tools like MEtime for Kids (AR) and MEtime for Art (VR). You’ll develop AR triggers for books and yoga cards, create VR environments, and collaborate with the product team.

* Play a key role in transforming traditional learning materials into interactive experiences.


What are we looking for?


Essential Skills

* Proficiency in Unity and C# for AR/VR development.
* Experience with WebXR, 8th Wall, or similar AR frameworks.
* Strong full‑stack development skills including mobile app development.
* Experience with API integrations and backend systems.
* Ability to develop and optimise mobile‑first AR/VR applications.
* Understanding of database syncing and data management.
* Basic knowledge of 3D environments, assets, and immersive technologies.


Desirable Skills (but Not Required)

* Experience developing educational technology or learning platforms.
* Familiarity with spatial UI/UX design principles.
* Experience working with real‑time audio or live streaming integrations.
* Knowledge of cloud services or backend infrastructure (e.g., Firebase, AWS).
* Experience with VR environment design and optimisation.
* Understanding of interactive storytelling or immersive content creation.

What will you be doing?


Key responsibility

* Develop AR Experiences Create and implement AR triggers for physical books and yoga cards using tools such as Unity, WebXR, or 8th Wall.
* Build VR Learning Environments Design and develop the VR Art Sanctuary, ensuring an engaging and immersive 3D experience for users.
* Integrate Live Community Features Connect the VR environment with live audio feeds from the Swarm community to support interactive sessions.
* Collaborate with Product Leadership Work closely with the Immersive Learning Product Lead to align technical development with product goals and educational use cases.
* Ensure Mobile‑First Performance Optimize AR/VR applications for low‑latency performance and smooth functionality on mobile devices.
* Manage Backend Integration Implement app‑to‑database syncing to track user progress and manage “Customized Print” metadata.
* Support Full‑Stack Development Contribute to both front‑end immersive interfaces and back‑end systems that power the applications.
* Test and Improve User Experience Identify bugs, test features, and refine spatial UI/UX to ensure the tools are intuitive and effective for learning.
* Assist with Prototype and Pilot Development Help prepare technical prototypes and support the deployment of early pilot versions of the AR/VR products.

* Develop and Maintain AR/VR Prototypes Build and refine early prototypes to test immersive learning concepts and ensure technical feasibility.
* Implement Spatial UI/UX Features Design and integrate intuitive spatial interfaces that allow children and educators to easily interact with AR/VR learning environments.
* Support Content Integration Work with designers and educators to integrate 3D assets, animations, audio, and instructional content into the immersive experiences.
* Monitor Performance and Debug Issues Identify technical issues, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure stable performance across devices and platforms.
* Document Technical Processes Maintain clear technical documentation for system architecture, AR triggers, APIs, and integration workflows to support future development and scaling.
