Job Description Oracle Health EPR Tech Lead Rate: DOE IR35: Outside IR35 Contract: Until April – Likely to Extend Start: ASAP Location: Primarily Remote with Occasional On-Site Need Sector: Public Health Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle Health EPR Tech Lead to lead the technical delivery of a large-scale ERP and EPR programme within an NHS Acute public health environment. This role will provide end-to-end technical leadership across multiple workstreams, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant delivery aligned to NHS standards and clinical systems. The successful candidate must have strong NHS Acute experience, hands-on EPR exposure, and proven leadership across complex healthcare technology programmes. Experience with Oracle Health EPR or Cerner is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Act as overall technical lead across the EPR programme Oversee and coordinate all technical workstreams, ensuring alignment and integration Provide hands-on leadership across: Data migration Reporting and analytics System integration Testing and assurance Infrastructure and cloud environments Define and govern technical architecture and design decisions Ensure interoperability between EPR, and downstream clinical and operational systems Lead technical engagement with suppliers, system integrators, and internal teams Ensure solutions comply with NHS data, security, and interoperability standards Support programme planning, risk management, and technical assurance activities Provide clear technical guidance to delivery teams and senior stakeholders Essential Skills & Experience Leadership & Delivery Proven experience operating as a Tech Lead on complex healthcare or EPR programmes Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple parallel technical streams Strong experience delivering within structured programme and governance environments NHS & EPR Experience Mandatory NHS Acute experience Proven experience working with NHS EPR systems Experience with Oracle Health EPR and/or Cerner EPR platforms (highly desirable) Strong understanding of NHS clinical and operational system landscapes Integration & Interoperability Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including: FHIR HL7 Experience designing and overseeing complex system integrations Data, Migration & Reporting Proven experience leading large-scale data migration activities Oversight of reporting and analytics workstreams Understanding of data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes Testing & Assurance Experience overseeing system, integration, and user acceptance testing Ability to define testing strategies and ensure delivery quality Infrastructure & Cloud Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Oversight of hosting, environments, security, and performance Understanding of infrastructure requirements in regulated NHS environments Desirable Skills Experience delivering EPR programmes Familiarity with NHS data standards and governance frameworks Experience working with multiple vendors and system integrators Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Apply now or email dom@briodigital.io for more information.
