Café Lead Snow Mountain, LLC is located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen offers gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors! Season: May 18, 2026 to Mid-October 2026 (depending on weather). Summary of Position: Assist the Location Manager in training and supporting all Café staff to be proficient in preparing and serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the Company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Responsibilities: Provide technical training and support to less experienced Cafe' staff and model professionalism with guests and other employees at all times Partner with Location Manager to ensure time and attendance records are submitted in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy of all guest orders by maintaining expert knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) system(s) Possess thorough and accurate knowledge of menu items and specials Proficient and honest in cash handling and credit card transactions; Assist Location Manager with timely and accurate sales and tips reports and cash/credit card receipts Assist Location Manager with coaching and developing of Cafe' staff and maintain thorough knowledge of Company’s Cafe operating policies and procedures Maintain confidentiality at all times Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, as well as company procedures Understand Company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas Model teamwork and help Location Manager meet business objectives Other duties as assigned Responsibilities: Possess ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company policy Excellent customer service and people skills Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts Excellent communication skills and be a team player capable of encouraging others in a positive manner Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and handle tasks involving bending, twisting and squatting Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people Education and Experience: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment Resort/National Park Concession preferred Rental housing is available, double occupancy.
