As an HLTA, you will support learning across the curriculum, lead small group interventions, and deliver whole-class teaching when required. Key Responsibilities Support the planning and delivery of lessons across a range of year groups. Lead targeted intervention groups and deliver whole-class sessions when necessary. Assist in monitoring pupil progress and providing relevant, constructive feedback. Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet the individual needs of pupils. Candidate Requirements HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent). Previous experience working within a primary school setting. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Desirable Skills Experience supporting pupils with SEN (e.g., autism, dyslexia, speech and language needs). Confidence using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
