Job summary
The successful applicant will have experience with complex systems and previous exposure to safe working methods, and the ability to work on a diverse range of plants.
Additional training and development will be given as part of a formal training plan to ensure safe work systems are maintained at all times.
This role will also require participation in the department's on-call system. This is to ensure that our service is delivered to our Hospital's 24-hours a day, seven days a week
. This is currently a one in six arrangement allowing for annual leave and standard working.
Main duties of the job
- The duties include highly complex fault finding and maintenance on all aspects of engineering plant and equipment throughout the Trust.
- The duties must be carried out within strict timescales and statutory guidelines.
- The post holder must participate in the pre-planned on-call rota as part of an approved structure (following suitable training).
- Planned and reactive maintenance tasks will take up a majority of this role, and an excellent all-around working knowledge of basic engineering systems is therefore essential.

3. oExperience of working with advanced plumbing and/or mechanical systems. oFault finding on mechanical with skills to isolate, keep running and fully repair. oExperience of delivering safe water services tasks, temperature monitoring, cleaning and chlorination of taps/TMV's and falt finding on systems.

4. oTo have experience in working within healthcare premises oWorking with a PDA installed with CAFM, MICAD and Zetasafe
