Sainsbury's Tech - Workforce & Cost Optimisation Analyst
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate payment of suppliers by raising and receipting purchase orders and managing a consolidated work order process for Time and Materials colleagues who submit timesheets. This role contributes to the efficiency and financial accuracy of the department, supporting the wider business goals of Sainsbury’s by maintaining robust financial controls and processes.

Accountabilities
1. Raise and receipt purchase orders: Ensure all purchase orders are accurately raised and receipted within the agreed timescales.
2. Manage work order process: Oversee the consolidated work order process for the accurate payment for Time and Materials (T&M) colleagues from key suppliers, ensuring all statements of work are created and processed correctly.
3. Supplier payment accuracy: Ensure all supplier payments are accurate and processed within agreed timelines.
4. Reporting: Provide ad hoc reports and updates to relevant stakeholders.
5. Workforce Data: Support the Lead with the management of Workforce data as needed.
6. Problem resolution: Resolve issues related to purchase orders, timesheets, and supplier payments through established processes.
7. Stakeholder communication: Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth payment processes.
8. Compliance: Ensure all payment processes comply with company policies and regulations.
9. Continuous improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
10. Training and support: Provide training to colleagues on payment processes and systems.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
* Strong technical skills in payment systems and software.
* Knowledge of payment processes and controls.
* Experience managing supplier payments and purchase orders.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable:
* Experience in a similar role within a large organization.
* Knowledge of Sainsbury’s financial systems and processes.
