Rota Coordinator

Location: Lewes

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum

The Role

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic environment? Do you thrive in roles where problem-solving is key to success? If so, they want to hear from you!

At the Foundation, they are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs. As an experienced Rota/Shift Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring their services run seamlessly by effectively managing staff resources, rotas, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and Coordinate Rotas: Develop and manage shift rotas, ensuring sufficient coverage while accommodating absences and changing service needs.
2. Resourcing: Liaise with agency and bank colleagues, ensuring they are trained, compliant, and ready to support their teams.
3. Compliance and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training, attendance, and certifications, ensuring alignment with CQC and Ofsted standards.
4. Support Recruitment: Assist in the hiring and onboarding of colleagues, maintaining a robust resourcing plan.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Rota management experience is essential.
2. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience in scheduling and resourcing.
3. A proactive approach to solving challenges, with an understanding of the fast-paced nature of social care.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues, managers, and external agencies.
5. Knowledge of CQC and Ofsted compliance is advantageous.
6. A commitment to their mission of delivering outstanding care and support.
7. Previous experience agreeing a PSL list and agencies T&C’s.
