Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking an ambitious, forward-thinking leader to drive our vision for a sustainable, prosperous, and resilient county. As Head of Place and Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of regeneration, planning, environment, and sustainable development across Carmarthenshire.
You will provide corporate leadership on environmental sustainability, planning, climate change, carbon reduction and key regeneration priorities while contributing to the wider strategic management of the Council. This is a unique opportunity to influence long term economic, social, environmental, and cultural wellbeing in one of Wales' most dynamic counties.
We are looking for a highly motivated senior leader with strong strategic insight, excellent partnership building skills and a proven track record of delivering major organisational programmes and service improvements.
If you are committed to innovation, sustainability, and delivering high quality public services, we would love to hear from you.
