Rutherford Cross is pleased to be supporting an established organisation in Glasgow with the appointment of an Assistant Finance Manager for 6 months to support a busy finance function. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to manage the completion of the audit file.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and managing the audit file, ensuring tasks are completed to deadline and audit queries are resolved efficiently
* Supporting the monthly management accounts process, working closely with senior finance colleagues
* Preparing and reviewing balance sheet and income & expenditure reconciliations
* Liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders across the business
* Assisting with process improvements within the finance function
* Providing hands on, ad hoc finance support, including journals and transaction processing as required
The Ideal Candidate
* Part Qualified or QBE finance professional with strong audit and reconciliation experience
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
* Highly proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
* Available to start at short notice
