This role will drive our sales orders, providing exceptional service to our existing clients while also identifying new business opportunities within the construction materials industry. Your typical customers may be local builders, farmers, merchants or housing developments. You will manage an existing portfolio of customers, building authentic relationships and encourage repeat business. On a typical day, you will: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Identify new business opportunities Provide customers with product information and quotations Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment Who You Are You will have experience of successfully managing existing client accounts ideally within the construction materials industry You are looking for the opportunity to manage your own customer base and market sectors, offering a broad product range across a variety of applications often outside of the day to day construction industry You have a competitive/resilient mindset towards winning new business in line with your agreed targets, implement sales/marketing campaigns, qualify and follow up on leads, promote the full product range to all customers within the territory and review dormant/prospect accounts. You have excellent customer relationship management, developing trusted relationships with your key clients by understanding their needs and value drivers in order to identify opportunities to upsell. You have the ability to learn about Holcim current and future product ranges. This is an area where you will receive a lot of support but somoenone from current sales background or within the same industry is desirable.
