Ancillary Revenue Manager

Location – Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary – Up to £45,000

At CrossCountry, we’re on a mission to evolve rail travel. As our new Ancillary Revenue Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of travel by unlocking new products, partnerships, and services that enhance the customer experience while driving sustainable business growth.

Ancillary Revenue Manager

As Ancillary Revenue Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our commercial strategy—leading the charge in growing non-farebox revenue streams that enhance the customer journey and drive sustainable business growth. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact with a real influence.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Optimising existing ancillary revenue streams, ensuring they deliver maximum value.
2. Working closely with senior leaders, owning strategic projects, and see your ideas directly shape the experience of millions of passengers.
3. Identifying and securing new commercial partnerships that align with our brand and delight our customers.
4. Developing compelling business cases to support investment in new initiatives.
5. Driving the commercial dimension of onboard catering, with a clear focus on profitability and customer value, in close collaboration with the Head of Catering.
6. Tracking performance against KPIs, providing actionable insights.

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

7. A strong track record in commercial or revenue-focused roles.
8. Demonstrable experience of identifying and delivering new revenue streams.
9. Commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
10. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
11. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional projects.
12. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable:

13. Knowledge of the CrossCountry business and/or commercial rail experience
14. Good knowledge of the railway network and/or UK geography
