Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential ServiceLocation: Swindon
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time (40 hours/week, Monday – Friday, plus on-call)
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager for its client’s Children’s Residential Service based in Swindon.
This role involves leading a brand-new, trauma-informed therapeutic children’s service designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and family-style home for vulnerable young people. With capacity for just 4–5 children, the service aims to feel like a true home—where everyday moments such as mealtimes, homework, and shared activities become opportunities for healing and growth.

What will your responsibilities be?
1. Lead the development and delivery of a brand-new service from the ground up
2. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and high standards of care
3. Implement trauma-informed approaches such as PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)
4. Oversee assessments and create tailored care plans for each child
5. Recruit, train, and inspire a skilled and compassionate team
6. Foster a culture of trust, emotional safety, and connection

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
18. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
19. Proven experience in trauma-informed care settings
20. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and best practices
21. Passion for child-centred care and emotional wellbeing
22. Excellent leadership and team-building skills
23. Enhanced DBS clearance (required)
