We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors. This is an exciting opportunity to support the learning journey of our students while gaining valuable experience in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and instructions left by the absent teacher, maintaining continuity in the learning process.
* Manage classroom behaviour and encourage student engagement and participation.
* Provide feedback and reports on student progress to the appropriate department members.

Requirements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and follow lesson plans effectively. Previous experience working with students preferred but not essential.
Essential Qualifications
* GCSE Maths (level C or above)
* GCSE English (level C or above)
Desirable Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Essential Experience
* Experience of working with children
Desirable Experience
* Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
* Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
Additional Details
Closing date: 12 noon 03/10/2025. This position is part time, term time only; the salary quoted is full-time equivalent. If successful, the salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
