Digital Retoucher, 3D
The Opportunity
We're looking for a few skilled
Digital Retouchers
to join this remote 3D team, supporting the delivery of high-visibility campaigns for marketing and advertising across this company's ecommerce site. This role is focused on elevating complex digital imagery to the highest standard, ensuring seamless integration between real and virtual elements.
The right person/people will combine technical expertise with artistic sensitivity, bringing an eye for detail, colour, and composition, while understanding both traditional retouching techniques and the unique requirements of 3D and virtual production content.
The Role
* Enhance and perfect 3D rendered images to achieve photorealistic quality
* Adjust and refine textures, materials, and lighting outputs
* Perform colour correction, grading, and manage colour spaces
* Clean up technical artifacts and ensure consistency across image sets
* Match CGI elements with real-world footage for seamless integration
* Maintain proper file organisation and non-destructive editing workflows
* Prepare files for multiple output requirements, following established guidelines
* Collaborate with 3D artists, stylists, and art directors to deliver best-in-class results
The Person
* 3+ years' professional experience in retouching
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and editing software
* Portfolio demonstrating high-end retouching and virtual production work
* Strong knowledge of colour theory, grading, and management
* Experience working with 3D rendered images and CGI integration
* Exceptional eye for detail, composition, and quality
* Flexible, responsive to feedback, and able to thrive under deadlines
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Familiarity with 3D software outputs (Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.) -

* Understanding of virtual production rendering pipelines -

* Knowledge of Substance Painter and shading/lighting principles -
