A bit about the job: You will be responsible for creation and utilisation of best practice, and quality assessment of our Pricing deliveries, which will support, direct and evidence the ways in which Personal Lines Underwriting embeds conduct and compliance within the many and varied activities carried out in the function. It will also be a key requirement to work with teams across the functions to ensure all critical issues are rectified prior to delivery and drive an environment of continuous improvement in best practice and simplification. Reporting to the Underwriting Conduct and Compliance Senior Manager, this position will support the delivery and oversight of a robust framework and quality assessment within Personal Lines Underwriting, which will ensure that change is independently tested and that the appropriate conduct and compliance measures, processes and controls are embedded across the function. This role will be critical to ensuring that Personal Lines Underwriting can successfully support the ambitions of our Personal Lines business and will ensure that we are meeting the needs and expectations of customers and regulators. In summary, the successful candidate will be expected to: Take Accountability to approve deployment of pricing change. Develop best practice pricing solutions in to ensure appropriate customer and conduct outcomes. Undertake assessment of Pricing deliveries to ensure compliance with regulation and internal best practice, proposing and escalating remedial actions as appropriate. Support existing processes and controls as necessary and supporting execution.
