Chartered Surveyor - Asset Management Specialist

Our client, a leading UK property consultancy, is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Chartered Surveyor to join their asset management team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled surveyor to advance their career within a respected and dynamic organisation.
Position Overview
The Chartered Surveyor will play a crucial role in managing a diverse property portfolio, providing strategic advice to clients, and ensuring legal compliance across all work carried out. This position offers the chance to work on a wide range of projects and make a significant impact within the asset management team.
Responsibilities
* Manage assets, engaging with clients, tenants, and contractors
* Conduct land and property valuations
* Handle property lettings and tender management
* Engage with landowners and stakeholders at all levels
* Provide strategic portfolio advice, including diversification and disposals
* Ensure legal compliance on all work carried out
* Mentor and coach junior team members
Requirements
* RICS qualified with post-qualification experience in surveying
* Valuation experience and RICS Registered Valuer status preferred
* CAAV probationer status desirable
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Business development-oriented with focus on customer service
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Full driving licence essential
