The Digital Product function brings together a community of practice for product ownership across the group. The function is responsible for developing a suite of industry leading technology that supports the group, delivering transformative and efficient tools and solutions that provide measurable benefits and outcomes, whilst supporting business strategy and regulatory obligations.
The Senior Product Owner will take ownership of several complex products and/or provide deep expertise in a specific product area to deliver maximum business value. Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, the Senior Product Owner will be responsible for defining product strategies, managing multiple backlogs, and ensuring successful delivery aligned with SJP goals and user needs.
Additionally, the role involves leading cross-functional teams to enhance the product lifecycle while fostering innovation, transformation and ensuring alignment with SJP's strategic objectives.

We are transforming our digital client experience to create a seamless ecosystem across App, Portal and Adviser Tablet experiences. We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead this transformation programme, turning the strategic vision into a practical roadmap and high-quality client outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead transformation programme of the Online Services
* Translate strategic objectives into a clear roadmap and prioritised backlog.
* Define and deliver new client and adviser journeys across digital channels.
* Collaborate with design, engineering, architecture and stakeholders.
* Prioritise initiatives that deliver the greatest value to clients and advisers.
* Track outcomes to ensure measurable improvements in experience.
You will be an experienced senior product owner with experience in building client facing web-based applications with a regulated environment, ideally wealth management or financial services.
Essential Experience
* 3-4 Years Product Owner/Product Manager experience in digital delivery.
* Delivery of large or complex digital initiatives or transformations.
* Managing client-facing digital products (apps, portals, online services).
* Agile product team experience.
* Strong appreciation for user experience and digital design.
* Stakeholder engagement and practical delivery focus.
* Working knowledge of development methodologies
Desirable Experience
* Wealth management or regulated financial services, preferably with a FTSE 100 UK Retail Bank, Wealth Manager or Fintech.
* Client portals, fintech platforms, or digital banking services.
* Working with design agencies, service design, or customer journey mapping.
