Job Description
The Engineering Survey team is employed to deliver the geospatial capabilities required to efficiently and accurately deliver the works in accordance with the contract requirements. The role of Tranche 5 Engineering Surveyor Manager is to implement the Tranche 5 survey resource and deliver all survey-related works for the Tranche 5 Project.
Responsibilities
* Manage all survey aspects for the Tranche 5 project requirements.
* Attend Tranche 5 meetings to support survey-related requirements.
* Write and review safety documentation.
* Manage survey-related sub-contracts.
* Provide regular updates to the H7 Framework Survey manager.
* Undertake and manage self-delivery survey requirements.
* Supervise sub-contract survey/setting-out works.
* Manage safety and safe systems of work.
* Support the development of the 3D utility model.
* Manage quality assurance.
Experience
* Proven experience as an Engineering Survey Manager.
* Ability to communicate safety requirements clearly.
* Sub-contract management experience.
* Ownership of tasks and effective communication of outcomes.
* Airport experience is desirable but not required.
* Flexibility to work shifts and unsociable hours/nights.
Qualifications
* Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or similar; working towards or equivalent qualification.
