Our Accounting, Advisory, and Compliance Solutions team provides outstanding quality of work and service to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements under IFRS, UK GAAP, and the Companies Act, along with additional accounting support.
Our clients range from SMEs, entrepreneurial and private clients to larger organizations both in the UK and internationally, across sectors including manufacturing, services, education, and retail.
You will primarily focus on preparing statutory financial statements under IFRS, FRS 101, and FRS 102 for UK companies and complex groups. Responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, particularly consolidated accounts, working on consolidation processes involving business combinations, cash flow reporting, and complex disclosures, using our accounts preparation software OneSource and CaseWare.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Qualified accountant with extensive practical experience in accounting and statutory financial statements preparation, including a strong understanding of journal entries and applying accounting principles to new scenarios.
2. Proven expertise in preparing IFRS and UK GAAP FRS 101 and FRS 102 statutory accounts for various businesses, including large groups.
3. Experience in preparing complex consolidations and cash flow statements.
4. Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
5. Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
6. Experience discussing IFRS and UK GAAP standards with clients.
7. Recent relevant experience in a practice accountancy environment.
8. Experience coaching and guiding junior team members.
9. Knowledge of OneSource and CaseWare is preferable but not essential.
