Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated KS2 teacher looking to step into leadership while continuing to make a strong impact in the classroom. You will take on additional responsibilities that contribute to the wider success of the school, such as leading a curriculum area, mentoring colleagues, or driving improvement in a key strategic area.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver consistently high-quality teaching in Key Stage 2, ensuring strong pupil progress
*
Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and independence
*
Take on a leadership responsibility, such as subject leadership or coordination of a key area
*
Use assessment data effectively to inform teaching and support targeted interventions
*
Support school improvement priorities through innovation, collaboration, and high expectations
*
Contribute to staff development through mentoring, CPD, or phase meetings
*
Build effective relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to enhance learning and well-being
We Are Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Substantial experience teaching in Key Stage 2
*
A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment
*
Leadership potential or previous experience in a subject or phase leadership role
*
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
*
A proactive, reflective practitioner with a commitment to continuous development
*
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
