The role of Local Service Manager will include:
1. CQC Registration as Manager
2. Leading the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
3. Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, key stakeholders and external agencies
4. Oversee safe and compliant medication management across the service
5. Manage tenancy agreements and support residents with housing-related needs
6. Lead and develop a motivated staff team to deliver high-quality care
7. Working closely with our internal and external partners to achieve KPI’s
8. Overseeing the service’s financial performance and managing the budget
9. Responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experiences:
10. Proven experience of working in a managerial role within an Adult Social Care Service with NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care
11. Previous experience of managing a CQC regulated environment is preferable
12. Experience managing accommodation-based services
13. Confident in computer skills such as electronic care planning, word, excel
14. Able to communicate with clarity and confidence across all levels, building trust with residents, staff, and external stakeholders
15. Open-minded and solution-focused approach, embracing challenges with resilience and confidence to overcome obstacles and drive continuous improvement
16. Compassionate, caring, and hard working with a hands-on approach to support
17. Experience of working in a personalised way supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
