City of Doncaster Council is seeking a motivated and skilled Consultant in Public Health to join our friendly and committed team. There is opportunity to shape a portfolio based on skills and interests as well as our priorities. You will be an advocate for health inequalities and committed to improving and protecting the health of Doncaster people.
As a systems leader, you will work with local communities, anchor institutions and Team Doncaster partners. The successful post holder will provide specialist public health advice on health matters and develop and deliver proven interventions to improve health, working with elected members, senior officers and a broad range of partners.
You will deputise for the Director of Public Health and support the team in public health training at various levels.

Applicants must be qualified as a public health specialist and be on the GMC, GDC or UKPHR specialist register.
