Olivia is our friendly virtual assistant, available to support you navigate through the application process 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. She can answer common questions, guide candidates through application steps, arrange interviews, provide timely updates, and help you find what you need. Olivia cannot make hiring decisions; those are made by human recruiters.
Eligibility and Documentation
Before we can employ you, we are required to verify your eligibility to work in the UK & Ireland. Acceptable documents to evidence your right to work can be found here. You will need to provide original documents such as a valid passport or a valid UK/Ireland visa (with a college letter listing term dates, where applicable). Only original documents will be accepted.

Role: Crew Member
You’ll contribute to delivering the best customer experience by preparing food, serving on the till, or being in dining areas. Responsibilities include:

* Adhere to workplace safety, security, and food hygiene procedures

Benefits and Pay
Benefits include holiday pay, meal allowance, employee discounts from top brands, and more. If you work overnights (midnight to 5am), you may earn extra pay. All team members, including hourly workers, earn above the national minimum wage. Other benefits include holiday and sick pay and discounts at over 1,600 retailers.

Pay Schedule and Shifts
Pay frequency varies by restaurant type. Hourly employees may be paid every 2 or 4 weeks, while salaried employees are paid monthly. Our restaurants have varied hours, with many locations open 24 hours. Shifts are scheduled to suit both business needs and employee availability.
Uniform and Promotion
Uniforms are provided. McDonald’s supports internal promotion and values talent; many leaders started in entry roles.
