My client is currently seeking a skilled Repairs Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves both planned and capital repair projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting thorough surveys and assessments of properties to identify necessary repairs and maintenance requirements
* Developing and implementing detailed repair plans and strategies for both planned and capital projects
* Coordinating with different teams and contractors to ensure timely and efficient execution of repair works
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all surveyed properties, repairs and maintenance activities
* Ensuring all repair works comply with relevant regulations and health and safety standards
* Conducting site visits as required to monitor the progress and quality of repair works
* Providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders on the status of repair projects
Job Requirements:
* Experience in facilities management and building maintenance
* Strong analytical skills to assess and identify building repair needs
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* Good communication skills for reporting and coordinating with teams and stakeholders
* Understanding of health and safety regulations related to building maintenance and repairs
* Ability to perform site visits and inspections as needed
