Year 6 Class Teacher – SATs Specialist
About the Role
Teach Now is recruiting an exceptional Year 6 Class Teacher for a thriving two-form-entry primary school in Edmonton. This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner (M3 and above) ready to lead a hardworking and enthusiastic cohort through a high-impact SATs year.

The school is looking for a confident KS2 teacher who thrives on challenge, brings strong subject knowledge, and has a proven track record of raising attainment in Year 6.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, inspiring lessons across all subjects in line with the National Curriculum
• Lead structured and effective SATs preparation, including targeted interventions, booster sessions and data-led revision
• Assess learning accurately, track progress rigorously and use data to inform next steps
• Build a positive, calm and ambitious classroom environment where every child can succeed
• Promote excellent behaviour, strong routines and high aspirations
• Work closely with the Year 6 team, SLT and support staff to deliver outstanding outcomes
• Communicate clearly and confidently with parents, offering regular updates and guidance
• Contribute to wider school life through planning enrichment opportunities, trips and transition activities
About You
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum M3 with strong, demonstrable Upper KS2 experience—Year 6 experience essential
• Confident delivering SATs preparation across Reading, GPS and Maths
• Skilled at using assessment to close gaps and accelerate progress
• Reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement
• Able to build excellent relationships with pupils and families
• High expectations, strong subject knowledge and a resilient, proactive attitude
