Service Advisor - Carlisle
Truck & Van Dealership
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to join a busy truck and van dealership in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a great team as part of a growing business group.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the central point of contact for customers within the busy service department
Providing relevant, accurate and timely information throughout the service process
Maximising service and parts profitability through professional upselling of identified defects
Loading the workshop schedule to maximise capacity and utilisation
Dealing with customer needs over the phone and face-to-face with a professional and friendly approach
Carrying out daily update calls to customers on vehicle progress
Gaining authorisation for work required
Building rapport with all staff and customers
The Candidate:
Previous experience within a service advisor role, ideally within the truck or van sector
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and administration abilities
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player who can also work on own initiative
The Benefits:
Competitive salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
