Overview
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy and growing fabrication company. The successful candidate will operate laser cutting machines to prepare metal components for production, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Operate laser cutting machines safely and efficiently.
* Set up machinery, adjust parameters, and maintain production flow.
* Conduct quality inspections of cut components to ensure precision and compliance with specifications.
* Assist with troubleshooting minor machine faults and report issues promptly.
* Collaborate with the fabrication team to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience operating laser machines in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Competent in using measuring equipment and performing inspections.
* Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Hours of Work
Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4pm; flexibility may be required during busy periods.
