Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced individual to join as a Supplier Cost Manager. The Operational Management (OM) function supports the Head of Real Estate Services (RES) and Head of Operational Management (OM) across their responsibilities. OM develops policies, processes, procedures, and tools for RES, collaborating with Global Functions like Finance, HR, and Strategy & Planning. The OM Team promotes continuous improvement in areas such as Governance, Risk Control, Operations, Change, Financial Management, and People.
This is a key financial management role within RES, focused on supporting effective cost base management.

Key Responsibilities
* Report to the GCB4 Senior Planning & Recharges Manager (UK).
* Manage supplier costs, focusing on third-party interactions due to outsourced costs.
* Financial control of RES P&L and balance sheets, including ledger transactions, month-end close, reconciliation, reporting, query resolution, and support for audits and VAT submissions.
* Assist with broader financial and business management activities as needed.
Candidate Requirements
* Experienced accountant or equivalent with strong commercial awareness.
* Experience in real estate cost management (e.g., dilapidations, vacant space provisioning) is preferred.
* Excellent data analysis skills for managing complex, high-volume data.
* Strong communication skills across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
* Ability to build relationships with third parties and hold them accountable.
* Collaborative, proactive, solutions-focused, with a drive for process improvement.
This role is based in Sheffield, with a hybrid working model.
