How will you contribute?
1. Ensures relevant information relating to transport legislation is available in a timely manner and highlighted at the appropriate level
2. Monitor vehicle maintenance detail to ensure adherence to legal compliance ie; scheduling, MOTs and servicing
3. Co-ordinate and support repair and maintenance requirements for Transport Fleet operations in line with legal compliance and regulation
4. Collate and present necessary Transport information to the Planning Team via the Management Information System
5. Use a variety of systems to produce and maintain accurate Transport information
6. Liaise with external functions. Agencies and Suppliers to achieve Transport objectives and operation plan
What will you bring?
7. Demonstrates an understanding of relevant legislation and works within site compliance,. drivers hours and working time directive
8. An understanding of the Transport function and how this feeds into a Distribution network
9. Computer literacy and able to use a range of systems and platforms including Microsoft programmes, Yard and Microlise
10. Ability to organise, plan and prioritise their own workload to meet deadlines
11. An awareness of health and safety regulations and relevant legislation ie Working Time Directive
