An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist Healthcare Support Worker to join our small enthusiastic, skilled team based in the North locality of Perthshire, based out of Blairgowrie Community Hospital.
Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, delivering physiotherapy interventions, and modifying and progressing treatment plans to support timely rehabilitation both in the hospital and community setting within the Blairgowrie area, with cross cover required across the whole of the North Locality.
Applicants should have relevant experience working as a Physiotherapist Support Worker within physical rehabilitation, possess good communication and decision‑making skills, and have a positive approach to multidisciplinary team working as well as being able to work autonomously.
The team are looking for a skilled Physiotherapist Support Worker who is keen to be part of a forward‑looking integrated service, who will promote the Physiotherapy contribution. The team cover all clinical areas on a need‑led, priority basis. As a member of the team, you will be involved in prevention of admission, supporting a home‑first approach and delivering an enhanced level of care at home.
You should have relevant experience which supports work in an in‑patient setting as well as domiciliary visits and outpatients. You should be passionate about providing excellent person‑centred treatment and care, and value honest and open communication. You will be fully supported by senior staff, with supervision, appraisal and regular CPD opportunities.

Hours of work are: 36 hours.
