Were looking for a Roadstone Operative to join our team at Tunstead Stone (Quarry), Buxton, one of the UKs largest and most advanced quarrying operations.
What the Role Involves
As a Roadstone Operative, youll play a vital role in keeping our stone operations moving efficiently. Youll operate mobile plant to support road and rail deliveries, ensuring materials are moved, loaded and stockpiled safely and in line with daily sales demand.
This is a practical, varied role, where you may also support quarry operations and cleaning activities within stone processing plants when required.
Location: Tunstead Quarry, Buxton
Easily commutable from Buxton, Macclesfield, Stockport, Dronfield, Manchester, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Leek, Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas
Hours & Shifts:
1. 42 hours per week
2. Rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
