We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team at our brand new facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles through comprehensive inspections, repairs, and maintenance. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Qualifications Level 3 NVQ as a minimum Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
