Join us as a Banking Product Control Lead

* Your daily responsibilities will see you providing the supporting information as required to customers at a senior level in Financial Control and other key finance areas

* This is a job share opportunity, which means you and another colleague will share the duties of one full-time job, with each of you working part-time hours on a pro-rata basis
What you’ll do
* Delivery and integrity of product control activities for a subset of products for balance sheet and profit and loss to support statutory and external reporting
* Reviewing key reporting metrics and evidence of associated controls for consistency
* Leading a team to deliver high-quality, accurate product-level finance data supporting wider financial, statutory, regulatory, and management reporting
* Ensuring compliance with policies and controls, and regular review of controls against CEC guidelines
* Leading your team to perform product control activities within deadlines
* Reviewing month-end production for activities on the banking architecture
* Responsible for balance sheet substantiation of product source balances
* Providing expertise for month-end activities and participating in committees
* Ensuring the integrity of financial information, including balance sheet and P&L
* Supporting Business Unit Reporting and Financial Control functions, including audit support
The skills you’ll need
* Qualified accountant with experience in a business environment
* Experience managing finance teams and delivering controls and reporting
* Ability to build relationships at senior levels and influence
* Knowledge of Oracle, Python, AWS, Tableau
* Experience in delivering change in financial services or large corporates
