Recovery Navigator

As a Recovery Navigator, youll play a vital role in bridging the gap between Probation Services and community:based substance misuse support. Working within a flexible, multi:disciplinary team, youll travel across Ealing and Hillingdon, Brent, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster, delivering face:to:face support within local Probation Delivery Units.
This is an in:person service, so youll spend most of your time out in the community across these boroughs, helping individuals engage with treatment and supporting their recovery journey.
What Youll Do
Youll manage a diverse caseload of adult men leaving prison or on community orders, providing practical, emotional, and motivational support. Day to day, you will:
* Carry out comprehensive assessments and create collaborative action plans.
* Deliver one:to:one, group, and virtual recovery sessions.
* Provide advocacy and practical support, from completing referral forms and attending appointments to liaising with service providers.
* Offer advice, guidance, and information that empowers people on probation to take control of their recovery.
* Deliver targeted interventions to build skills, confidence, and understanding of dependency and recovery needs.
* Work closely with probation staff, treatment providers, and community partners to sustain engagement and reduce reoffending.
* This service complements, rather than duplicates, existing substance misuse provision, ensuring access to the right support at the right time.
About You

* Experience supporting people with substance misuse, offending behaviour, or complex needs.
* The ability to manage a busy caseload and maintain accurate records.
* Flexibility to travel between multiple London boroughs as part of your working week.
