Your new role
As a Treasury Loan Security Analyst / Property Finance Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Treasury with strategically important loan security and charging projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a legal background, particularly in property, who wants to broaden their skills and work within finance, asset management, and property security.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading on security management and reporting for the Group
2. Managing the ongoing disposal and monitoring of charged properties
3. Providing legal guidance on restrictions affecting both charged and uncharged assets
4. Ensuring the organisation maintains adequate secured loan headroom and a strong pipeline of unencumbered assets ready for charging
5. Supporting the Loanpliance Officer with valuations and stakeholder reporting
6. Managing key relationships with internal teams and external partners to deliver critical treasury and asset security projects on time
What you'll need to succeed
7. Experience in loan security valuations
8. Proven project management capability
9. Experience in legal conveyancing process
10. Confident negotiation skills
11. Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
12. Excellent attention to detail
13. Clear, professional written and verbalmunication skills
14. Good working knowledge of Excel
Desirable
15. Experience working within a housing association or public sector organisation.
16. A professional legal qualification, such as the LPC.
Essential Qualifications
17. Degree educated (preferably in Law).
